Our team is well-versed in many burial customs and ensures that all burials are handled with respect and in accordance with a family’s traditions. There is a sizable Latino population in the Miami area, and many of our team members speak both Spanish and English.

Burial options for every family

We offer many burial options at Caballero Rivero Dade South, including single, side-by-side and double-depth gravesites that can be customized with bronze-on-granite markers or, in some areas, upright granite monuments. We also offer private family estates, which are situated in a prime location near the front of the cemetery grounds.

For those who prefer above-ground entombment, we have 3 outdoor mausoleums with single or tandem crypts. We can also construct customized individual or family private mausoleums.

Lush and serene cremation garden

For cremated remains, we offer columbarium niches, ground inurnment and cremation benches. Since cremation has become increasingly popular, we recently developed a new cremation garden, the Garden of Hope.

Located near the front entrance of the cemetery, Garden of Hope is artfully landscaped with a vast array of trees, plants and flowers. We encourage you to stroll along the red brick pathway and take in the beauty of the surroundings. Cremation memorialization options in this garden include columbaria, memorial benches, niches and flat stone markers.

Our Miami cemetery is located on Southwest 117th Avenue, off the Florida Turnpike. We are easily accessed via the Ronald Reagan Turnpike, Don Shula Expressway and Southwest 152nd Street. We are a short drive from Palmetto Bay, Miami Beach and the Florida Keys. For those traveling by air, the cemetery is close to the Miami International Airport.

During our Mother’s Day program in May, which includes a priest and music, can be an especially nice time to visit the cemetery.

Proud to serve veterans and military families

We are honored to serve our nation’s military at Caballero Rivero Dade South. We are experienced with providing proper military burials and work with local and national organizations as well as all branches of the U.S. armed forces to ensure military traditions are upheld. The Veterans Memorial honors the brave men and women who served to protect our freedom, and we have a lovely garden dedicated to the Brigade 2506 and military families.

Involved in the Miami community

At Caballero Rivero Dade South, we are active in the Miami community. We host 2 annual events: a large Mother’s Day program in May with a full mass and choir, and a festive Día de los Muertos celebration in November. We also support many Miami-Dade County organizations.
